Mark
Manager & Instructor
Mark has worked for Anchor Driving School for many years, and has owned the business since 2018. He has a wealth of knowledge about driver training and Queensland Transport procedures.
Mark has taken a step back from driver training to oversee the day to day running of the business.
Maria
Instructor
Maria comes to Anchor Driving School with an enthusiastic and caring approach to her teaching. She teaches mainly automatic and manual on request.
Maria drives a blue Hyundai Accent and lives in the Eagleby area.
Debra
Instructor
Debra has been a driving instructor for over 20 years. She is very thorough in her teaching and is well liked by her students.
Debra does automatic driving lessons in her blue Mazda 3 and lives in the Marsden area.
Henry
Instructor
Henry is Anchor's newest driving instructor, coming from a trade teaching background. He is a softly spoken yet enthusiastic instructor with a thorough approach and teaches both manual and automatic.
Henry is driving the Anchor Driving School vehicles, a white Hyundai i30, a white Kia Cerato.
Jay
Instructor
Jay has been a driving instructor for many years, long before joining Anchor Driving School. He teaches in both automatic and manual vehicles. Jay comes from a Chinese background but has called Australia home since he was a young boy.
Jay drives a white i30 & a silver Honda Jazz, and lives in the Algester area.
John
Previous Owner
John Porter (previous owner), now works in the background of Anchor Driving School, providing ongoing support to the owners, Mark and Joanne Hickson.
